Moodboard: Floral to Coral Throw Pillows

Pillows - Floral to Coral by coffee22

I am in the process of shopping for accessories and decor for our "sun room" off of our kitchen. We have two slipcovered arm chairs in a natural stone and they are in serious need of a set of throw pillows. So I spent some time "shopping" around for pillows online and thought I'd share some of my favs with you.

Moodboard: Bedroom Revisited

Remember when I created a mock bedroom moodboard the other day? Well, Erica told me about a site -- polyvore.com -- that lets you clip images online and create a REAL moodboard that is much more professional-looking :-) So without further ado, here is a revised version of my master bedroom moodboard.

Online sale at Ballard Designs

Hurry, hurry! Ballard Designs is offering an additional 20% off all items in their Estate Sale when you order online. Today is the final day so if there is anything you've been eyeing, take advantage of this discount!

What a Steal: A five-paneled mirror for $60!

Just after Christmas I ventured out to Home Goods to check out their mirror selection. I loooove using mirrors in this house because it's a interior townhome and mirrors really open up our space. Home Goods is a great place to check out because their mirrors, when you find one you like, are a steal.

Have you noticed the five-paneled mirrors that are beginning to show up in catalogues and online?

Williams-Sonoma Home, for one (retail price: $295):

And on Design Sponge in a designer's portfolio:

Well, I found this little beauty at Home Goods for the bargain basement price of $60!

I think it will work really well in our revived powder room...once we get the bath fixture moved up by an electrician on Friday. Will keep you posted on progress!

A Wish Granted

Remember back in November when I casually mentioned a wonderful Victorian Globe Vase that would make me a very happy girl? Well, someone was listening (surprise, surprise!) and on Christmas day I opened up an adorable pink box to find the vase I had wished for! Of course I had to find a fun bouquet to pretty it up right away and here it is in it's new home on my bedside table!

Steal of the Century!

Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating just a bit here, but I just brought home a new set of red nesting tables for next to nothing! I decided to visit the outlet mall in Leesburg, Va and happened to stop in Pottery Barn during a crazy 50% off everything sale day (yes, everything in the entire store). So naturally I sprinted through the store to find any rugs or furniture that might work in our home.

That's when I saw a sign for the Natalie Nesting Tables for $45.99! I could hardly believe my eyes. They were on sale at the retail store for $99.99 and the full price was $179 a few weeks ago. Mine all mine, for under fifty buckeroos!
